Mission Statement

We are dedicated to reaching children with the gospel by teaching, encouraging, and enriching their minds and lives, helping them to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and having a life committed to serve in the name of Jesus.

Sunday School

Sunday school is where children come together weekly to hear stories about what God, His Son, and other stories of the Bible. They also do memorization and crafts that relate to the stories.

Nursery

We provide nursery care for all church services. The ages are newborn through age 3. Our goal is to teach God's love in a safe and caring environment, and cater to the parents of these children.

Children's Services

Our children's services are for kids in preschool through 3rd grade. These services offer Bible study along with music and crafts that will help instill the teachings of Jesus. Start time: 10:45 am on Sundays.

After School

Immanuel Baptist Church's After School Program is for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. IBC's After School Program begins at the end of the school day around 3:15 pm on Wednesday's. Transportation to the church is available from York and Bissett Elementary Schools.

Have fun making crafts, being tutored, playing various games, and learning. Dinner is provided for those who stay and attend AWANA clubs.

This activity is provided free of charge.

AWANA

Welcome to the Immanuel Baptist Church AWANA club. Awana come from II Timothy 2:15 - "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a workers who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. " The AWANA program is for children beginning at two years prior to kindergarten through 6th grade. AWANA meets on Wednesday evenings from 5:45 pm to 7:15 pm, following IBC's After School Program. The AWANA program includes large group sessions to learn and grow, small group/individual time and game time. Come and have fun learning about the Lord Jesus Christ. See You There!!!

A Note To Parents

Anyone who works with a child in our church has cleared a rigorous background check and enjoys working with children.

 

If Springfield Public Schools are not in session on Wednesdays, there will be no AfterSchool or AWANA clubs.
